Kelsie Linell

Founder and captain

  • Cape Cod born
  • Charter captain
  • New mom

Kelsie spent a decade as a top woman captain on Cape Cod, running her own deep sea fishing charter. She knows how to lead a crew, keep people safe, and make hard days feel easy.

Now she is a new mom with a new mission. Little Waves is the thoughtfully designed play space she wanted for her own family: clean, elevated, and welcoming for kids and parents alike.

She is building the number one space on the Cape for parents who want their kids to play freely while they sit, talk, and feel at home.

Why we exist

Cape families deserve a warm place to land.

On a cold morning or a rainy afternoon, parents of little kids on the Cape run out of options fast. The beach is closed, the house feels small, and everyone is climbing the walls by ten.

Little Waves exists so there is always somewhere to go. A clean room, soft light, and space for kids ages 0 to 6 to move. Parents get a seat, a warm drink, and another grown up to talk to.

How we do it

Four promises we keep every day

Clean and safe

Soft floors, rounded edges, and a room we reset all day long.

Built for little kids

Every climb, nook, and toy is sized for ages 0 to 6, not older kids.

Comfortable for parents

Real seating, clear sight lines, and quiet corners so you can talk.

Easy to book
